Graduate Programme In Business Adminstration


The three-year Graduate Course in Business Administration, affiliated to the North-Eastern Hill University and leading to the award of the Degree Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.), is an innovative project of the College to answer to an acutely felt need of the eduacational scenario of the North-East; an accredited course for the preparation of of professionally trained personnel in the field of Business Management. The Course, tailored along the patterns followed by the best management institutes in the country, will expose the students to the functional areas of Business Management such as Production & Operations Management, Organisational Behaviour, Finance, Marketing, Economics and Information Technology. Analysis of business situations through case studies will ensure a meaningful blend of theory and practice.


This course will prepare a student to approach with a greater confidence the MBA and MCA Courses offered by premier institutions in the country and abroad. The college has also plans to organize campus interviews for the graduates for absorption as Trainee Executives in reputed companies. Further, the Course is intended to hone the managerial skills of a student to enable him or her to opt confidently for self-employment avenues. Enterpreneurship Development is an important component of the course.

In the third year, the University offers three optional groups. The College, at present, offers only two of these - Group I and Group II. A sutdent is to choose one of these two optional groups for specialisation.
ADMISSION
  1. Candidates must obtain 55% marks in the aggregate at the Higher Secondary level.
  2. Admission will be taken on a first-come first-served basis and / or an Entrance test.
  3. The number of seats available is Thirty five (35) only.

Fees will be charged for all Degree courses. The Session Fees, Laboratory Fees, University Fees and six months' Tuiton Fees are to be paid on admission along with the Admission Fees within the date given on the Admission Form. All fees and dues are to be deposited at the College Extention Counter of the Central Bank of India, after the Fee Book has been countersigned at College Office No. 3. The fees are liable to be changed from year to year.
