Biotechnology

The College offers Biotechnology as an honours subject for B. Sc. students with Chemistry and Botany as subsidiary(elective) subjects. It is a professional course that opens up avenues for our graduates for self-employment as well as employment in medical, pharmaceutical and food-processing industries. It also provides them with strong theoretical and practical foundations to enable them to secure preferential admission in Post-Graduate Courses in similar and allied inter-disciplinary subjects (Master in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Mircobiology, etc.) in recognized Universities across the country. The students are also trained to improve their communication skills, both verbal and written through seminars, group and panel discussions and project assignments.
