Geology
The College offers Geology as an honours subject for B Sc students with Physics
and Mathematics as subsidiary (elective) subjects. This Honours course can also be opted with Mathematics and
Chemistry as subsidiary subjects. It is a professional course that
prepares our graduates for immediate and employment in the Oil, Petrochemical
and Mining sectors. It also provides them with a strong theoretical and practical
foundation to enable them to pursue an academic career in Earth Sciences (M Sc or
M Tech in Geology and Mining) in recognized Universities across the country.

- Candidates must obtain 55% in the aggregate at the qualifying examination.
- Admission will be taken on a first-come first-served basis and / or an Entrance test.
Preference will be given to candidates having Geology at the qualifying examination.
- The number of seats available is Thirty (30) only. Five seats are reserved for trainees
of Church-related institutes.

for General and H for Honours. Thus H would indicate a paper only the Honours
students would be required to take, GH for a paper that both the honours and the
general students would be required to take, and G for a paper that only the general
students would be required to take.

Fees will be charged for all Degree courses. The Session Fees, Laboratory Fees,
University Fees and six months' Tuiton Fees are to be paid on admission along with the Admission Fees within the
date given on the Admission Form. All fees and dues are to be deposited at the College Extention Counter
of the Central Bank of India, after the Fee Book has been countersigned at College Office No. 3. The fees are liable to be changed from
year to year.
