Media Technologies


In appreciation of its success in pioneering 'Mass Communication' as a professional course at the undergraduate level, The University Grants Commission(UGC) has sanctioned yet another professional degree course in the college with its core empahasis on audio production and photography. However, the course aims at forming well-rounded and thorough-going media professonals with its allied courses in Print Journalism, Radio and TV Anchoring, Advertising and Film journalism, Information Technology for Media and English for Communication.

Expertise in modern media technolgies is synonymous with job opportunites and in the communication world today: in newspapers, in TV and Radio stations, in publishing concerns, in the public relations and advertising departments of multinationals and governments. Besides finding ready employment even while prosecuting their studies, further profesional and academic opportunities limitless right across the country and abroad for these graduates.

  1. 55% marks in the aggregate at the qualifying Examination.
  2. Admission will be taken on a first-come-first served basis and / or an Entrance Test. The College may conduct an interview if deemed necessary.
  3. The number of seats is twenty-five only. Five seats are reserved for the trainees of Church-related institutes.

Fees will be charged for all Degree courses. The Session Fees, Laboratory Fees, University Fees and six months' Tuiton Fees are to be paid on admission along with the Admission Fees within the date given on the Admission Form. All fees and dues are to be deposited at the College Extention Counter of the Central Bank of India, after the Fee Book has been countersigned at College Office No. 3. The fees are liable to be changed from year to year.
