Department of Computer Science

The Department of Computer Science offers a full time B.Sc course with honours in Computer Science. The department is the only one under the affiliating University to conduct the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) course with approval from AICTE. In addition to this, the department runs part time courses – Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Appications (PGDCA), DOEACC ‘O’ Level, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), UGC approved career oriented add-on course in E-Commerce and Desktop Publishing, apart from many other short term courses. In fact, the College is ranked as one of the top 10% institutes countrywide conducting ‘O’ Level Course by DOEACC Society.

The department also collaborates with the departments of Mass Communication, Commerce, Business Administration, Biotechnology, Mathematics, Statistics and Music to conduct computer related papers for the students from these departments.
